With this project, a poultry house will be established through different training courses such as Masonry NCI, Carpentry MC II, Animal Production (Poultry/Chicken) NC II, Entrepreneurship Training, and Competency assessment. Brgy. Bayabas is one of the identified focus areas of the PTF-ELCAC by bringing government services and programs to spark livelihood development and to protect the residents from the influence and underground propaganda of the communist terrorist groups (CTGs). Considered as the farthest barangay of Malibcong, it can only be reached by 4 wheel-drive trucks or jeepneys. The dirt roads are prone to landslides and the place can hardly be reached during rainy season.
Training programs are also offered for the residents. Moreover, the government will be funding infrastructure projects in the area such as the establishment of health station, concreting of Bayabas Elementary School Building and farm to market roads.
“We thank you for reaching out to us here in our barangay to bring your services closer for everyone.” Bayabas Punong Barangay Alejandro Busay expressed. He also shared his commitment and that barangay Bayabas will soon be an insurgency-free barangays.
