Sabangan SB tops prov'l Local Legislative Award

PSTC, DOLE conduct veggie noodles production training

TADIAN, Mountain Province, March 18 (PIA) -- The  Provincial Science and Technology Center (PSTC),  in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), conducted a one-day training on veggie noodle production to  19 participants from the SUMIKA Farmers Organization, Natural Farmers Association, Layog Country Farm and Holy Rosary High School, all in this municipality.

MPSPC- Paracelis eyes campus independence

BONTOC, Mountain Province – Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) – In the recent visit of College President Rexton F. Chakas to the MPSPC-Bacarri, Paracelis Campus, the desire that the campus be given a full-fledged status was relayed. Interviewed after the visit, the College President said he was pleased with the appeal, saying that the communities mean well. “It means that the communities and their leaders know the impact of education upon their people. It means that they see what access to education would bring to them. It means that they are open to help us develop the Bacarri Campus.”

NATONIN, Mountain Province, Nov. 12 (PIA) -- Typhoon- affected miners from Ucab in Itogon, Benguet trekked to the landslide site  in this municipality to help  in the search, rescue and retrieval operations.

Cleansing rituals in Natonin site to be done

NATONIN, Mountain Province – Local officials and tribal leaders in this town are now working out the conduct of the age-old cleansing rituals in the site where the tragic landslide incident transpired that caused the untimely demise of eighteen people at the height of Tropical Cycone Rosita to drive away the evil spirits in the place and guide local rescuers to locate the whereabouts of the eleven others that are still missing from the rubbles of the 4-storey building of the Department of Public works and Highways (DPWH).
