Hingyon PNP station inaugurated

HINGYON, Ifugao, April 5 (PIA) - - A newly constructed police station at the municipal government’s compound here was inaugurated on Wednesday, April 2, 2019 by local and police officials.

 

Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR) Director BGen. Israel Ephraim Dickson, Provincial Administrator Albert Pawingi and Mayor Geraldo Luglug led the inauguration of the Hingyon police station.

Funded by the PNP, the construction of the three-storey building worth more than Php.4.8 million was started on April 13, 2018 and completed this month.   The   local government provided the 400 square meter lot as counterpart.

Dickson said that the inauguration of the building is another breakthrough for Hingyon municipality particularly the police force.

“I must thank all who have worked for the realization of this project. This will open up a new space for commitment and importance; designed to meet the increasing demand and expectations of the services we provide for the community,” he said.

 In line with PNP’s transformation program, they highlight not only the internal characteristics but also their logistical and physical aspect which play an essential role in the organization’s improvement. (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
