SNAP Vice President and Chief Corporate Officer, lawyer Mike Hosillos, formally turned-over on Wednesday (January 9) to Mayor Martin Habawel, Jr. a well-equipped K2500 ambulance to boost the implementation of health programs in the municipality.
The P1.7 million-worth brand new four-wheel drive ambulance is with medical equipment, and other supplies.
The donation was part of SNAP’s Corporate Social Responsibility whose key result areas (KRAs) include local health and infrastructure, education, environmental and livelihood projects and local governance.
“In Magat, we have been cooperative in providing the needed support to local government uniys. Our commitment to our CSR is there and we hope that this will help in the delivery of the health requirements of our community, “Hosillos said.
Habawel lauded SNAP for continuously supporting the health programs of the LGU by providing another ambulance to cater to the health needs of the people of Lagawe and nearby towns.
The power firm has earlier donated an ambulance and granted a P1.8M financial assistance to the municipality as counterpart for the purchase of two backhoes that are being used for roadopening in the various barangays of Lagawe.
