The event aims to showcase the talents of the kindergarten pupils which they gained in their respective classrooms through the painstaking mentoring of their teachers in various learning activities. Now they share to the public by way of competition among the district delegates themselves.
It also provides the children the opportunity to learn in a child-friendly, gender sensitive, safe and motivating environment wherein the family, community and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners while the administrators and staff as stewards ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen and the teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture the learners.
Following the parade around the center barangay of the town participated by the delegates on Nov. 22 and the opening program at the Provincial Capitol Plaza stage, the pupils showed off their talents in Solo, Interpretative Dance and Draw and Tell , Poem and Modern Dance.
The pupils earlier displayed their information material supplies, daily learning program and workbooks at the SDO.
These activities contribute to their growth and development as children and in preparation for their higher learning in the elementary school level.
This year’s theme National Children’s Month of “Isulong Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata” is in tune with the motto of the DEPED-Ifugao SDO that “No Ifugao Child is Left Behind” as they are sincere to carry out the vision and mission to provide quality basic education that is accessible to all in which “Bawat Bata ay Kinakalinga” (All children must be taken care of).By Daniel B.
