IFSU prexy bares first 100 days accomplishments

LAMUT, Ifugao, Oct. 25 (PIA) - - The crafting of the strategic development plan to guide   this province's lone state university  in  realizing its vision as a global university amidst cultural heritage is among the notable accomplishments of the  new school president in her first 100 days in office.

Dr. Eva Marie C. Dugyon stated that with the best and brightest minds in the university,  they were able to set the direction of Ifugao State University (IFSU)until 2026 through the crafting of the strategic plan.

Amidst the goose bumps, sleepless nights and challenges, Dugyon was able to make concrete measures to institutionalize transparency and good governance; set physical fitness program for employees; installed LCDs, TV and projectors in classrooms, and  increased and sustained extension services.

Physical repairs and enhancement of facilities were also implemented including the acquisition of equipment, strengthening of the alumni office and active involvement of stakeholders.

Dugyon attributed the  success of her first  100 days as IFSU president  to the unity, cooperation, interdependence, commitment and willingness of everyone to take responsibility which is the extra ingredient that makes taking action more of a natural thing and more proactive.

“I acknowledge also that the achievements for the first three months reflect the strong foundation established by our immediate predecessor. Thank you once again, Dr. Serafin Ngohayon for instituting a bedrock that we are leveraging on, as we are pressing on to spur development in the university,” she added.

Dugyon described her first 100 days in office as the most challenging part of being a president and also the most fulfilling period as she was able to witness God’s help. “With that, we need to persevere and let us welcome the challenges with optimism,” the IFSU president added.
