PNP chief inspires Cordillera police to work harder

LA TRINDAD, Benguet, Oct. 29(PIA)-- Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Oscar Albayalde encouraged   the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR) to work harder to sustain or even surpass its recent achievements.


Speaking before the 117th Police Service Anniversary celebration recently at Camp Bado Dangwa here, Albayalde repeatedly inculcates to the police as law enforcers and public servants that there is never a time for slowing down that police work requires deep commitment, dedication to duties in order to keep the community safe and peaceful.

“As Chief PNP, I want to underscore the fact that under my term, we will not leave no stones unturned in addressing the nation’s peace and order problems particularly on illegal drugs and crime, as well as on police scalawags”, Albayalde said.

He repeatedly emphasized the importance of discipline in the ranks of the police as he sent the message to all commanders that they are responsible for disciplining their personnel.

As part of the celebration, the Chief PNP personally awarded Cordillera police officers and commands who excelled for the year. Awardees are PSSupt. Noel Vallo as Best Senior Officer   for Administration; PSSupt. Ramil Saculles, Best Senior Officer for Operations; PSInsp. Marnie Abellanidad , Best Junior Officer for Administration, and   PCI Benson Macli-ing  as  Best Junior Officer for Operations.

Best Police Provincial Office awardees are Benguet Police Provincial Office, La Trinidad Municipal Police Station as Best MPS, Baguio Police Station 1 as Best City Police Station, and Kalinga Police Mobile Force Company as Best Provincial/City Mobile Force Company.
