NFA Abra Branch manager Elizabeth Kai said NFA is buying palay at P20.30 per kilo from individual farmers and P20.70 per kilo from cooperatives and registered associations.

Kai assured sufficient rice supply in the province at present.

“At the moment, we have 1,500 sacks of rice National Food Authority (NFA) –stocked in our bodega located at Brgy. Calaba, Bangued and an additional truck-load of rice is about to arrive from La Union,” Kai said.
