P40 million needed for MP special elections

BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will need at least P40 million for a special election for the province’s congressional post once declared vacant by the leadership of the House of Representatives following the untimely demise of the late Rep. Maximo Dalog, Sr. who succumbed to alleged kidney ailment in a Quezon City-based hospital last month.

30 years of driving CAR

In Barangay Bugnay in Kalinga province stands a new marker that honors leaders who protested the construction of four hydroelectric dams on Chico River during the martial rule of strongman Ferdinand Marcos.

Alab Petroglyph

The Alab Petroglyph is a huge rock formation that was inscribed with bows and arrows and is believed to have contained the ancient fertility rites of natives.

Backstrap and Loom weaving Houses ( Samoki Weaving)
