Kalinga Public Safety Company reaches out to school children

RIZAL, Kalinga, Sept. 20 (PIA) -- The Kalinga Provincial Public Safety Company (KPPSC) rolled out its best practice dubbed “Blessing Ko, Share Ko”, this time benefitting pupils of the San Pedro Elementary School here.

 

KPPSC conducted feeding to grade schoolers, distributed 100 pieces plastic envelope containing assorted school supplies and toiletries and eight sacks of used cloths (ukay-ukay) to parents and participants of the outreach program.

PCI Joseph Adornado Santos, Acting Company Commander, said they also conducted information, education and communication campaign cascading to the participants the PNP Patrol Plan 2030 and lectured on anti-criminality tips.

Salient features of the Violence Against Women and Children, Anti-Bullying and Dangerous Drugs laws were also highlighted. Army personnel headed by Capt. Roberto Bulosan Jr. lectured on anti-insurgency while Rural Health Unit representatives talked on proper hygiene.

The activity was in cooperation with the Rizal Municipal Police Station and RHU, the 50th Infantry Battalion and the Company Advisory Council.

“Blessing Ko, Share Ko” is the pet-project of the Company where personnel and patrons voluntarily give donations in cash or in kind for distribution to school children in far-flung areas particularly in conflict areas and in communities being visited by the New People’s Army.
