Marcelo Nicomedes Castillo, regional director of DSWD in the Ilocos, announced during the Kapihan sa Ilocos of PIA on Friday that their office has begun posting the list of SAP recipients on their website and it is now ready for public viewing.
The public can view the list of beneficiaries on this link, https://fo1.dswd.gov.ph/social-amelioration-program/.
The website provides the initial list of SAP beneficiaries of local government units (LGUs) in the Ilocos Region that have completed their distribution, however, it will be updated once the remaining LGUs finish their distribution.
“As of May 14, there are 102 out of 125 LGUs in the region that have completed their distribution of SAP, and 35 LGUs that have submitted already their liquidation report,” said Castillo.
Also, the website provides the public with access to the list of SAP recipients from the provincial down to the barangay levels.
It also has a search and filter bar so the public would easily search the barangay or name of the recipients they are looking for.
Meanwhile, Castillo encourages the public to see only the data of their respective area or barangay to avoid comparing the data to other barangay or municipality.
However, he clarified that there is a possibility of similar names appearing from one place to another, but he assures that DSWD is double checking the details whether there is a duplication or not.
The publication of list of SAP recipients will allow the public to know who have received the assistance and scrutinized whether these recipients are truly eligible of the aid.
He called for public vigilance to report any issues or concerns regarding the distribution of the said assistance.
“Kung may mga issues kayo na nakita sa listahan, paki-text lang sa aming hotline para kayo ang maging mata at tenga namin para masundan namin kung may kamalian sa pagbigay ng SAP ang certain LGU,” he said.
You may contact the DSWD through the following telephone numbers: (072) 888-2184 or (072) 687-8000 or mobile no. 09458237218 for Globe and 09615488850 for Smart.
Earlier, the Department of the Interior and Local Government directed barangay chairmen to post the SAP beneficiaries in the conspicuous public places such as barangay halls so the residents will know who will receive aid from the government. (JCR/AMB/JTQ/PIA 1)
