As reported earlier, there are three persons under investigation (PUIs) in Benguet, two in Mt. Province, and one each in Baguio and Abra.
The youngest is two years old and the oldest is 57 years old. Pangilinan said that four were declared negative of any nCoV infection, while the remaining three she will still be monitored just to be sure.
These PUIs have travel history to Hong Kong. All of the test results came from the Research institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
Pangilinan added that there are 21 meanwhile persons under monitoring (PUMs) were 12 of them were cleared.
She said that persons who undergo investigations and monitoring showed symptoms like coughs, colds, sore throats, fever among others. Pangilinan said that the PUMs are those who had close contacts with the PUIs.
She said that all the persons cleared were sent home as they were already in stable conditions. She said that they are still coordinating with the municipal and barangay health workers in the places of the PUIs and PUMs.
The DOH Cordillera is conducting daily media briefing as part of the efforts in curbing unverified news and unnecessary public panics. Pangilinan promised that they will come out with the latest update as soon as data are available.
