PMA Public Information Officer Major Renan Afan said more than 33,000 examinees took this year’s entrance examination of the premier military school in Asia. This breached the 2018 record of 28,000 examinees, making it the most number of examinees in the record of the PMA.
e successful examinees will undergo the next phase of the selection process for PMA Cadetship which is the Complete Physical Examination to be conducted at the AFP health Service Command at the V Luna in Quezon City.
Successful applicants will go through medical, psychological and physical examination to determine their fitness to undergo the four-year military training in the academy here in Baguio City.
After the series of examinations, the PMA Cadet Procurement Board will deliberate and select the most qualified candidates to compose the PMA Class of 2024. From the more than 1,000 passers, only the top 400 will be chosen. They are expected to report to the PMA on June 1, 2020 for the oath taking ceremony and start of their cadet training.
PMA cadets will become full scholar of the government with free college education with a well-rounded curriculum.
