Gov’t workers urged to renew commitment to the people

LAGAWE, Ifugao, Sept. 15 (PIA) -- Governor Pedro Mayam-o enjoined state workers to work for the effective and efficient delivery of services to the people.

 

“Let’s renew our commitment to the people, we are all civil servants, let us work so that the people will realize that there are dedicated public servants who are willing and ready to provide the needed services to all,” Mayam-o told government workers during the launching of the 117th Philippine Civil Service Month celebration last September 4 at the Capitol compound.

The Governor also encouraged government employees to support the lined-up activities for the month-long Civil Service Month celebration with the theme, “Tugon sa Hamon ng Pagbabago: Malasakit ng Lingkod Bayan”.

Mayam-o earlier issued Memorandum Order No. 43 requiring active participation of provincial employees in the Civil Service Month celebration. Activities include the Fun walk, friendship ball games, Zumba dancing, tree planting, PLGU Family and recognition of loyalty awardees of the provincial government. (JDP/Marcelo B. 32 trees to be cut in PIA-CAR compound
