Medical mission set in Ifugao hospital

LAMUT, Ifugao, Jan. 27 (PIA) - A five-day medical mission is set at the Panopdopan District Hospital (PDH) in Bannit, this municipality on January 30 – February 3.

 

The activity will be conducted by the Christ Compassion for the Needy International Mission Group, the provincial and local government units and other medical groups of Ifugao.

Among the services to be offered are operation of cleft lip and cleft palate, operation for middle ear problem, neck mass surgery, thyroid ultrasound and free needle aspiration biopsy, operation for goiter and gynecologic problem, screening for cervical cancer and diabetes, provision of hearing aids and reading eyeglasses,   dental extraction and prophylaxis, and among others.

The rural health units will recommend one or two patients to be accommodated for operation of goiter.

Interested individuals are advised to visit the PDH and the Provincial Health Office – Out Patient Clinic in Natuwolan, Lagawe or text or call cellphone numbers 09175539680 and 09175631447 for initial listing and screening of patients for operation. Final screening will be done by the Medical Mission Group.
