LA TRINIDAD Benguet – Winners of the 18th National Gawad KALASAG for Calendar Year 2016 were revealed through a National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) resolution signed by members of the National Selection Committee (NSC), Civil Defense Administrator USEC Ricardo Jalad, and Interior and Local Government OIC Secretary Catalino Cuy on May 15, 2017.
LA TRINIDAD, Benguet, April 25(PIA) - - The provincial government in collaboration with private companies launched an educational assistance program for short courses on information technology producing initially some certified graduates.
La Trinidad is know to be the “Strawberry Capital of the Philippines” because of the strawberry fields. Visitors can experience strawberry picking and also taste different products made from strawberry like the strawberry ice cream and strawberry “taho”.
